Fishing the Tuolumne River

Fishing the Tuolumne river is a great way to get out and enjoy a hot summer day. Floating or rafting is one way to enjoy the river. As you are floating down the river, it is a great opportunity to take advantage of the excellent fishing. There are lots of small mouth bass and catfish just waiting to bite your line. What is even better, is when you get to hot, just fall overboard and cool off. Be sure and wear a life jacket for your personal safety.

California rivers offer a wide variety of enjoyment. The Tuolomne river is just one of many rivers to explore. It winds through the central valley and is quite beautiful to see. The fishing isn't bad either for you fishing enthusiasts. For rafting or floating, you can drive up to one bridge and launch. Then take another vehicle down river where you want to get out. It can be an all day adventure or a short trip. Which ever you prefer to do.

The best advice is to make sure you bring some sunscreen. The sun can get real intense on a trip like this. While you are floating along, there is not much shade from the sun. Slowly meandering down the river is an unforgettable experience. The river and all of the wildlife that you will see, makes this a great getaway. Take the family for a wonderful trip down the river. They will never forget that day. It is a very inexpensive way to take your family on an outing.
