Fixing a leaky roof can be a serious undertaking. Just because you see where it is leaking inside, does not mean that above that spot is where the leak is. Sometimes a leak will run down a rafter and drip in a completely different area. If you crawl up inside the attic, most times you can see where the leak is coming from.
