Adults that spend time outside each day are much more agile, leaving them with less sleeping problems at night as well as experiencing pain from the aging process. Being outside also can help halt middle age spread. For example, middle-aged people tend to put on extra weight easier and faster. Therefore, when a person gets outside and engages in a simple 30-minute workout every day, they tend to be a couple pounds lighter than people who just sit around the house.
